JOHN KLEWIN

  I’m a lifelong grappler with a passion for both competition and teaching. I wrestled at the NCAA Division I level for Rider University during the 2020–2021 season and was a two-time Pennsylvania state qualifier in high school, finishing with 98 wins as a three-year varsity starter. After years of grinding on the mat in one of the nation’s toughest wrestling circuits, I transitioned into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and quickly found a new home on the mats.

   In 2024, I was proud to receive my Purple Belt under Chris Perry at Good Vibes BJJ. Along the way, I’ve earned multiple titles in tournaments like NAGA, The Good Fight, and TCO, competing in both youth and adult brackets. Today, I bring that same competitive mindset and deep love for the art into everything I do as a coach and mentor.
 

   After college, I felt a shift. I realized how much grappling  and martial arts had given me—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. It taught me how to show up for myself, how to handle adversity, and how to grow with purpose. Now, my goal is to pass that on.
